I wish that I could give zero stars!!!!
Very bad camera which has never worked properly with the app. Furthermore, the wifi signal stopped working after a few months, so I sent the camera to Hongkong to get it fixed. In Hongkong my camera is apparently working fantastic and I am expected to pay for the return of a camera which they have not fixed and does NOT work.
Bad product + worse service = worst company.
This company will try to rip you off. If you will have any problem they will never help you. Nightmare

What a joke. Purchased from America as I assumed this would be the best protection. Camera angle changes all the time when riding. Reached out within one week and was told that I cannot get a refund. I needed to have sent them a video of the issue so technical team can help. No I don't. I have rights and am allowed to return a product if it isn't fit for purpose.

Shocking. I've contacted PAYPAL to sort out.
Shame on them trying to shirt reasonability. I didn't ask.for a refund. I wanted a replacement. Not anymore.
Utter disbelief
FedEx lost my camera , Insta360 drugging time and asking to do all the job for them, they answering my email once in 4 days with same answer we still trying to figure out with fedex. it's already 1,5 months and they didn't refund or sent me a new camera . Scamers!!!
The package was delivered before I came to my shop Monday 4/19. As soon as I saw its box damaged, I took pictures and did an unboxing video and found out the case was broken too. So I opened the case to see if the camera was damaged or not. I saw dust on the camera. I turned on the camera to check if the camera was ok or not. The camera had no sign of damage, but the video I recorded had issues both in video and audio. So I emailed Insta360 the unboxing video and pictures, and requested return for a refund. But Insta360 asked me to contact a local FedEx. I did, and the local Fedex transferred me to international FedEx and they said the seller needed to file a claim, not me. So I emailed Instal360 about that. Since then, Insta360 kept asking me to wait on FedEx's feedback for a solution. And now, Insta360 kept asking why I activated the camera, and asked me to send the original video for their techs to check the camera's quality validation from my video. I told them only way for me to test the camera was to activate it, and then I sent them the video. At this writing, I'm still waiting for their response and it's been 13 days.
The WORST customer service that I have ever received. I wanted to cancel my order and they gave me the run around until after it was shipped. I tried the camera and it does NOT like up to the hype. I contacted them immediately for a refund and they once again gave me the run around until after their 15 day return window (where is that on the site?) expired. Never again. I will never buy from an over seas company again.
Bought Insta360 One R Areal kit and it is with manufacturing fault and showing Lens guard during stitching. jello effect (Shaky video) in ATTI or normal mode (Make no difference) Not working as described in the advertisement.
Sent filmed footage and chat mail after mail for 3 weeks got back only 55 Euros for the kit only (as I wanted to keep the camera module).
Insta360 Studio (latest update) crashing again and again at file loading.
They should be working on beta test first before launch the product.
The insta360 x2 is a great camera, but in anything other than great light you get an 'ok' for facebook video quality but if you edit it in with an iPhone 12 the poor quality of the video is apparent. So nearly there, really needs bigger sensor and 8K to work as part a multi camera shoot with out being the weak link. Great waterproofness and compact size. Maybe the x3 might be the one!
They just had a spring sale and everything was on sale. I just bought my one x2 less then 2 week ago and asked customer service if I could either pay for the difference and get the discounted bundle or just return my previous order and reorder it.
After going back and forth with them for about a week without them answering anything and taking so long to answer. Then the spring sale ended with still so solution. So basically they just tried to postpone their answer and now their is nothing they can do. Serious! W T F! Get your ask together and hire some competent customer service staff!
Great product. But I just bought an Insta360 Go 2. Fantastic gadget. Great video quality.. Small compact
But no sound on it.
This is where hell begins. Asking the same questions getting nowhere.
The fault I fear is one to do with the serial number.
My hunch is more than likely I won't be the only one.
So bottom line.
Great product.
But if something goes wrong god help you.

Something you can't do much about is they are based in China Iam in the UK.
So the time difference is a major problem however you would have thought a company this size might have found a workaround to this, being a global market and all.
I agree the Customer service is terrible.

If you ever have a problem, forget it. You are dealing with China. For me that is half way around the World.
They are not in the slightest bit interested.
I love 360 cams, but Insta360 has no idea how to give support to USA customers. They fail to answer questions clearly. I keep asking if I will be able to have lenses replaced in the USA. I then, after a week of trying, get to the service request page. I fill it out, but it will not go to next details (shipping). They only chat during China hours, so you have to call at night. every step, it gets harder and more frustrating.
"I just want to replace the lenses"! I am willing to pay. So tired of trying to communicate with these guys.

i bought a one r because it had great reviews on youtube. i assume they were given the camera and were paid. because this camera has terrible still photo quality. so i went to the customer support to get my money back. right now i'm in a back and forth. they are telling me that the quality is the way it should look, so therefore there is no problem with it.
their own return online gave me the option of being unsatisfied with the quality of the images. and they won't send me an RMA or my money back unless they can prove there is a problem. they are basically saying, we know the quality is bad, therefore there is no problem. and it also freezes. they want to blame that on the card, even though many others had that problem. right now i'm in the middle of this. writing to china, waiting a day and a half for a reply, i asked 4 times for my money back and still nothing. i'm ready to contest the charge.
if you want to buy one of these - go through AMAZON, not the company direct even if they have a better deal and you save on tax (you don't, its actually cheaper on amazon). and they send it using DHL from china, it still takes a week to get.
all i know is, this should be easy, and its not. i went from YAY new toy! -- to this is junk, i hate this thing, i don't want it any more. its hard to use, can't use a normal bluetooth remote, clumsy interface, terrible software, limited options, its freezes randomly and has terrible picture quality.

as an update i finally got my money back, i had to use my credit card, it took 2 months!
one month in i get this weird email, they finally wrote back to me, told me, "we noticed there is a chargeback, cancel the chargeback and we will give you an address to send the old camera back and we will refund you.".
umm yeah right.
so i ignored that, because they ignored me, having to wait days on end for a reply. they didn't have a leg to stand on because their return policy is so poor. considering they are the factory, the fact they gave me the excuse, if you return it, we can't resell it... well you can't resell something broken can you? they can recondition it, because they are the factory. i should have had the heads up when i called their number and a clueless person picked up always the same person, always hard to understand, who could not help me and had no idea how to return it, because i don't think any of them ever came back.
so stay away from this company. i don't care how great their camera's seem. they aren't great. and if it fails you may have to send your camera back to hong kong and hope it will come back to you.
and if you paid already and your didn't get your money back, then ask your credit company to do a chargeback. if they keep getting them they can't sell with credit cards any more. which means people will buy it from stores that do honor the warranty. it was the ONLY way to get my money back.
